I was so excited. I actually got Little Bitty to wear something that I had made for her(this hasn't happened for quite a while). It's a cute little green and blue t-shirt dress. With little flower appliques. It's girly - but still casual and playful - she agreed to actually wear it. Sure, I had to let her sleep in it first so that she wouldn't have to get dressed this morning - but - we do what we have to.
So, just as she started to head out the door to school - she spotted the brown, leather, fringed cowboy vest from Halloweens past. AND WOULDN'T THAT LOOK PERFECT WITH HER NEW DRESS?! gah. bleck. ah well. We pick our battles.

Just so you know, she decided it would be best to leave the vest hanging under her cubby and didn't actually wear it into her classroom. I think she just wanted to irk you as she was leaving this morning.
